AEO/GEO Content Brief Template

A Practical Framework for Answer-First, AI-Citable Content

By Ellen Tuckett · AI Search, AEO, GEO & SEO Strategy · May 2026 · v1.0
Purpose

This template turns AI search prompts, buyer questions, and citation gaps into a structured content brief. The goal is to help a page perform across traditional SEO, answer engines, and generative AI systems.

A strong AEO/GEO brief does more than target a keyword. It defines the question the page needs to answer, the entities it must include, the proof it needs to cite, and the structure required for AI systems to understand, summarize, and reference the content.

Who this is for: Enterprise content strategists, SEO leads, demand gen managers, and AEO/GEO practitioners building content for AI-native discovery.

Use this template as a working brief. Fill in each section before assigning content, refreshing an existing page, or testing whether a page is ready for AI search visibility.

Topic: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

"Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) is a security framework that requires every user and device to be continuously verified before accessing applications or data, regardless of network location. Unlike traditional VPNs, ZTNA grants access based on identity and context, not network perimeter. This approach reduces lateral movement risk and supports least-privilege access at scale."
